Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Projected Financials and a DPR?
Projected financials are the financial statements only (P&L, BS, CF). A DPR is the full project document that contains projected financials plus market study, technical feasibility, regulatory analysis, SWOT etc. Banks for working-capital often need only projections; for term-loan they need a full DPR.
Are your projections accepted by banks in Delhi?
Yes. Our projections are issued in PNB-59 / SBI-CMA-2018 / Canara / HDFC / ICICI MSME formats and are routinely accepted by appraising branches in Delhi. CA-certificate with UDIN is included where required.
How long do projections take to prepare?
3-5 working days for a 3-5 year projection from receipt of promoter inputs, historical financials (if existing business) and assumption guidance call. Bank-format conversion adds 1-2 days.
Can projections be used for investor pitch decks?
Yes. We deliver a "founder narrative" version (high-level summary slides) plus a "data-room" version (full Schedule III with assumption sheets) for investor diligence. Cap-table, runway, burn-rate, unit-economics modules included on request.
Will the projections work for visa applications?
Yes β UK Innovator/Founder, Canada SUV, USA E-2/EB-5, and Australia 188 visa applications routinely accept our CA-certified 5-year projections as financial-viability proof.
Do you serve Delhi-based clients?
Yes. Virtual Auditor scopes projection engagements for Delhi businesses from our offices in Chennai, Bengaluru and Mumbai. Secure data-room workflow; weekly status updates. Call +91 99622 60333.
Which Registrar of Companies handles filings for a company in Delhi?
ROC Delhi has jurisdiction over companies with a registered office in Delhi. Virtual Auditor files SPICe+, PAS-3, SH-7 and annual returns with that office on your behalf.
What stamp duty applies to a share transfer in Delhi?
Stamp duty on a transfer of shares is 0.015% of the consideration under Article 62 of Schedule I to the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as amended with effect from 1 July 2020; the rate is the same in every state, including Delhi. Stamp duty on the share purchase agreement itself follows the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Delhi schedule).
Do you have an office in Delhi?
No. Delhi is served remotely from our Chennai head office: documents are exchanged online, filings are made on the MCA, GST and income-tax portals, and meetings are held by video or at that office by appointment.
How can I build defensible projections and understand the cash and funding consequences?
Build revenue from drivers you can evidence, such as customers, volumes, prices and conversion rates, rather than a growth percentage. Split costs into variable, semi-variable and fixed. Model working capital in days, capital expenditure with depreciation, and the repayment schedule of any debt. Link the profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow so the balance sheet balances every period. Then run scenarios and sensitivities on the assumptions that matter most, and read off the funding gap, runway and debt-service cover. Keep an assumptions register that says where each number comes from. You receive the model, the assumptions register and a short note on the results and risks.
Breakeven and Operating Leverage
For Delhi-region capex-heavy businesses (manufacturing, services and trading clusters being the typical exemplars), high operating leverage means breakeven utilisation matters a lot β and we model the year-by-year breakeven trajectory rather than a static single-point.

Projected P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash-Flow in Delhi (NCT)
For Delhi (NCT)-based businesses, projection-model anchors are: corporate filings at RoC NCT of Delhi-I or RoC NCT of Delhi-II, depending on the district of the registered office (the single Delhi registry was split effective 16 February 2026), GSTIN state-code 07, ITAT jurisdiction at ITAT Delhi (multiple benches β largest in India), and Delhi (NCT)-region peer-data calibration for capacity-utilisation ramp, working-capital cycle, and price-escalation assumptions.
The economic mix of Delhi (NCT) runs across wholesale trade (Naya Bazar, Khari Baoli, Old Delhi), media & advertising, retail & FMCG HQs β sectors that consistently dominate the regulatory case-load and the profile of the engagements we field from this jurisdiction. Notable industrial enclaves include Patparganj Industrial Area, Okhla Industrial Area. On the AD-Bank side, Delhi is the second-largest AD-I market after Mumbai; every foreign bank operates a dedicated mid- and large-corporate desk in Connaught Place / Nehru Place / Aerocity.
Delhi hosts ITAT's principal bench, the High Court bench with the largest TP-litigation docket, and the headquarters of the CBDT, DGFT, MCA and Competition Commission of India β making it the regulatory and judicial centre of gravity for company law in India.
Delhi (NCT)-Region Peer Calibration
Projection-model assumptions are calibrated against actual Delhi (NCT)-region peer financials in financial & professional services and IT/ITES (Connaught Place, Nehru Place, Saket DLF) sectors β DSO, DPO, DIO, capacity-utilisation ramp curves, gross-margin bands and EBITDA conversion. Generic CRISIL/ICRA national averages typically over-estimate margins for Delhi (NCT)-region SMEs by 200-400 bps; our model corrects this.
Working-Capital Cycle Discipline
Working-capital cycle for Delhi (NCT)-based businesses is built bottom-up: debtor-days against Delhi (NCT) customer-payment behaviour (typically 75-105 days for B2B in financial & professional services); creditor-days against Delhi (NCT) supplier-norm; inventory-days against Delhi (NCT) sector turn ratios.
Bank-Format + Investor-Pitch Dual Output
Delhi (NCT)-based engagements typically need both a bank-format projection (PNB-59 / SBI CMA-2018 / Canara) and an investor-pitch version (founder narrative + data-room).
Engagement β Delhi (NCT) Coverage
Virtual Auditor's projected-financials practice covers 3/5/10-year P&L+BS+CF, DSCR, sensitivity, IRR/NPV, breakeven, working-capital cycle modelling, and bank-format/investor-format dual outputs β for Delhi (NCT)-based businesses across bank-loan, fundraise, visa, tender and statutory-filing use cases.
